No. The 3-slot chassis features a built-in power supply for maximum stability and ultra-low noise. It does not rely on an external wall wart. Each chassis ships with a power cable matched to your destination’s plug type (US, EU, UK, etc.).

This is a deliberate design choice made for superior audio performance and safety consistency across global power environments.
Ground Loop Prevention: Our internal signal ground is DC low-voltage ground and is intentionally isolated from the external AC ground. Connecting the chassis to the external AC ground can often introduce non-standard currents or leakage found in regional mains wiring, which leads directly to ground loops and low-frequency hum in your audio path. By isolating the chassis, we ensure a cleaner, quieter power supply for your 500 series modules.
Safety and Reliability: The chassis is fully DC-grounded and shielded, resulting in exceptionally low noise floor performance. We use the two-prong configuration for enhanced portability (similar to products like the Mac mini and Mac Pro). Our design ensures that the lack of an external AC ground connection does not compromise the unit's safety or reliability.
