"This is a B-Stock 1178, available in limited quantity.

Each unit may show minor cosmetic imperfections such as small surface marks or light rack wear from testing or photography, but performance is 100% identical to new stock.

Every B-Stock unit has been fully inspected, calibrated, and tested by our engineering team before shipping, and comes with the same 5-year warranty as new products. However, B-Stock products do not qualify for the 14-day try-out and satisfaction guarantee.

We have unique access to the remaining stocks of discontinued components that were used in the original UREI 1178. Therefore, we were able to rebuild the signal processing chain 100%.

 
Beyond the faithful replication, we added an onboard M/S-L/R switch, which is paired with separate attack & release controls. It also has a mix knob and a sidechain HPF - the must haves for today's production.

 
Our "not-settling-down" makes it possible to utilise the compressing power of 1178 (which masters have been loving for decades), meanwhile apply a modern day workflow for modern genres.
